When starting the debugger on a Reva 3 board, the computer blue screens when "Initializing the emulator" with a IRQ_LESS_THAN_OR_NOT_EQUAL. It blames the windrvr6.sys file. I've tried upgrading to the latest version of Ride (7.26.09.0351) with no luck. Is there any sort of fix for this issue? |
Hi,
From what you say, I suspect a conflict with another software that would have installed an invalid version of the WinDriver. Did you install AVR studio? For now it's the only software that we saw was doing this.

Yup, that sounds like what I did. I've since then uninstalled AVR Studio. The fix I did was that no matter how many times I reinstalled Ride, it would still use the new windrvr6.sys file. So I went in to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers and did a search for all files named windrvr6.sys looked for one that was the oldest (in my case 7.0.0) then copied it to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers. Rebooted, and voila. No more crashing.
