My team is using a STR91x microprocessor. Working with hardware, if the debugger is running, the code editor tool tips that pop up with variable information/values cause the debugger to break in a random location. Running from this location eventually leads to a data abort. Is this a known issue? Is there a way to disable the tool tips in the editor? The steps to repeat are start debugging, run, then hold the cursor over any variable. |
Hi
Your description is pretty similar to a known issue.
This bug has been introducing while adding functionalities for other targets.
It has been corrected and the correction will be available upon next Release.
A patch is already available from the link below:
ftp://raisonance.com/temp/STRx/ARM79RLink_Drv.dll
This file has to be placed into \ride\bin\
Please note that this fix is to be used only with:
Ride7 version 7.24.09.251 and Rkit version 1.22.09.0254)
