Q: Do I have to activate a license?

A: If a license is required, you should activate the license within 30 days of software installation.

All software functions in an unlimited "evaluation" mode for 30 days.

For RKit-ARM, as of August 2020, the "Lite" license is now the default license. The software shifts automatically from "Evaluation" to "Lite" at the end of the 30-day evaluation period without any activation.

Activation is required for the unlimited "Enterprise" license. Users must purchase an Enterprise serial key or USB license dongle to activate this license.

For other RKit toolchains, you must activate your software license in order to allow the tools to function beyond the 30-day evaluation period.
