When building a project, I get the following error: Internal or installation error in external tool. Please check the installation of "arm-elf-gcc.exe" I do have GNUARM installed, and have included the binary directory in my PATH. When running cygwin, I can execute arm-elf-gcc.exe from my project directory. I can build the project fine from the command line, but would like to use the RIDE. Is there something else I am missing? Thanks. |

Can you please try to run the command line (the same that works under cygwin) from a standard DOS prompt? The result of this test will tell us if the problem is in the installation of gcc or in RIDE. Then, we know where to look.
Since you are already using cygwin, you must take care of having only one "cygwin1.dll" file in all the directories referenced in the PATH, and it must be the latest of all those you have. If the first test above fails, then the problem is in the installation of gcc, not in RIDE. Then I suggest you search your whole hard drive for instances of this file and keep only the latest.
If the first test succeeds, then the problem could be in RIDE. Please zip the folder containing your RIDE project and send it to me (support@raisonance.com) the log and listing files there should tell me what's wrong.
