Hello!
We have clock problems after using the Rlink programmer with RFlasher.
What happens is that the internal RC osc stored on location oxFFDE is changed after programming.
This is what we think it can be but we are not sure. Whats strange is that we can not overwrite this location later.
Adr space 0xFFDE contain the factory innstaled RC osc value for 5VDC operation.
The datasheet says:
– These two bytes are systematically programmed
by ST, including on FASTROM devices. Consequently,
customers intending to us e FASTROM
service must not use these two bytes.
– RCCR0 and RCCR1 calibration values will be
erased if the read-out protection bit is reset after
it has been set. See “Read out Protection†on
page 15.
Caution: If the voltage or temperature conditions
change in the application, the frequency may need
to be recalibrated.
Refer to application note AN1324 for information
on how to calibrate the RC frequency using an external
reference signal.
Does anyone have any solution on this without thinking about calibrate the RCCO reg.
We do not want to do that. This is working just find under other programming tools our customers are using.
We hope Raisonance or someone could help us on this one.
Best regards
Leif Gunnar

Hi Leif
We are going to check if your clock problem comes from that calibration.
But as you said it might come from antoher point.
This why I would like to try to answer to the list of questions you will find in the link below:
