Hi everyone I'm new to Ride, so please excuse me if this seems a really simple question. My programming panel has disappeard in RFlasher. It used to be there, it worked fine, but now it's gone and I can't find it in the menus to re-enable it. On the programming menu, I notice all options are greyed out. Debugging still works find through Ride7, so I do believe my HW is working correctly. Any ideas what went wrong? Thanks |
If you have closed the pane manually, the panel should be back when you leave and start RFlasher again.
Is this working for you?
Hi Behnaz
Thank you for your answer. Yes, I have tried this but it didn't help.
So please try "Reset Default Project" from the project panel.
And in "project Options" panel , please check the value of "Programming Project Options"|"Info"|"Target Family".
Hi Behnaz
I'm not quite sure where to find "Reset Default Project". In Project->Properties there's a "Reset to defalt this group options" button, but this didn't help.
My project wasn't showing any programming options, but when creating a new project I got both the programming options and the programming panel back.
Thus it seems something has gone wrong with the project setup. The interesting thing is that I've not changed anything there in months and RFlasher was working fine before. I should be able to restore this by going back in my records.
I assumed this was an interface thing, and was looking for a setting/button to bring back the panel. It now seems the panel disappears automatically if the project is not set up right.
Thanks very much for your help.
RFlahser could be used with creating projects or with using the default project, which is stored in your [Application Data] folder.
Something has been corrupted in your default project.
To reset the default project, close any opened project, then use "View"|"View Project Explorer" to open the "Project" pane. In the command bar of the project pane select "Reset Default Project"
regards
Hi Behnaz
I did exactly what you suggested, and this worked beautifully. Any idea what caused the corruption in the first place?
Thanks again for your help.
