I am compiling for the str731 with the RIDE STR7 and i get the following error from the loader

/cygdrive/c/program files/gnuarm/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-elf/4.0.0/../../../../arm-elf/bin/ld: BFD 2.15 assertion fail ../../binutils-2.15/bfd/linker.c:619
/cygdrive/c/program files/gnuarm/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-elf/4.0.0/../../../../arm-elf/bin/ld: region FLASH is full (i:/projects/228 can interface/cansoftware/cancal/can.elf section .text)
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

What could be the error, i can send source code if needed

Hi,

The error "region FLASH is full" means that your program is larger than the Flash memory available on the device.

Hello, I compiled my project and I've received this warning "cygdrive/c/......BFD 2.15 assertion fail../..binutils-2.15/bfd/linker.c:619. Coild you help me about this warning?
