I've downloaded the last version of Ride7 and, when I try to enter debug, the windows crash and my PC is restarted.
I'm working with Windows XP32 and using a STM32 Primer. When I turn on the Primer, windows recognizes RLink and I think the driver works correctly. Only when I try to enter debug, and Ride 7 tries to comunicate with Primer, the crash happens.

With the last Ride7 releases (or one of the last) I didnĀ“t have this problem.
Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?

Thank you

Hi,

Your problem sounds very similar to one that a few other customers experienced because of a bug in an AVR software. Please read the following forum threads carefuly:
http://raisonance-forum.xsalto.com/viewtopic.php?id=3147
http://www.stm32circle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=843

... and check if you might be in the same situation.

If it does not help, we will need more information:
First tell me the version of the windrvr6.sys file, and then answer this form:

Best Regards,

Vincent

OK, thanks for your help. The problem is indeed AVRStudio4 that installs a new version of windrvr6.sys file (version 10.1.0.0). I had just to copy the 7.0.0.0 version to windows32/drv and that's all. It works!

Thank you again
