Hi!
I'm with a problem when using TIM6 and TIM7 on STM32f103, This timers not responding to Command Configurations like "TIM_Cmd(TIM6, ENABLE);" and in the Debug Tree TIM6 & TIM7 show both the same configuration that is loaded to TIM2.
And when i enable TIM2 all 3 timer begin to count at the same time, with same counter value.
Can you check it, please?
Only need to use the TIM6 & TIM7 as basic counter...

Hi,

There is indeed a problem in the debugger displaying the TIM6 and TIM7 registers values. Thank you for reporting it.

Please tell me the complete name of the STM32 you are using and I will send you a test file that should correct that.

Here you will find files that should solve the problem you reported:

Open the readme.txt and follow the instructions.

Please let me know if it works.

For other people: If want to test this fix on other STM32 devices, please tell here the name(s) of the STM32 device(s) you want to test and I will put the associated file(s).

The TIM6 & TIM7 are working as expected, Debub is now correct!

hi,
i am trying to configure TIM2 in STM32103RBT6.
As i am new to arm.
i configured but i dont really know its works fine or not.
as i need to do timestamping using this

Hi,

I too have the problem TIM7 not working properly. But all other timers 1 to 5 work fine.

I am using STM32F100RBT6 for the development.
