Why is my USB dongle not recognized ?

Q: I'm using a dongle, but the tools remain in demo mode regardless of whether the dongle is inserted or not in the USB port. What can I do ?

A: You should install the driver before you plug in the dongle. The tested dongle driver that is included for support of legacy Windows versions should be in the following directory:

<Ride>\bin\Sentinel System Driver Installer 7.5.7.exe

If the dongle is not recognized, there may be a problem with the installation of the driver, check the existence of "Sentinel System Driver Installer 7.5.7" in C:\Raisonance\Ride\bin" and try reinstalling and activating the software. To activate, follow the instructions on your RKit download page on the Raisonance Support Website.

If you do not find the dongle driver in your Ride installation directory, you can also download the driver here:

If you still encounter problems after installing version 7.5.7 of the dongle driver, you can uninstall the driver and try this version of the driver:   http://www.raisonance.com/pub/downloads/Sentinel_System_Driver_Installer_7_6_0.zip

Special Notice:

We have been informed by Thales - the manufacturers of the Sentinel Super Pro license dongles, that their drivers do not support PCs with ARM core processors. At last information, they did not intend to update their driver to correct this. For more information, please contact Thales support.
