With the debugger active, RIDE quits as soon as the File/Open dialog is brought up (before any file is selected). This happens every time. By contrast, dragging a file onto the debugger pane to open it works fine.

Hello Francis

The fault occurs when talking real target. Give me a day or two; I'll make a basic project which triggers the fault and send it. Do you have Silabs C0851 eval boards? Right now I've got C8051F021 and C8051F530.

We have 4 boards equiped with the following devices: C8051F120, C8051F300, C8051F320 and C8051F360. But I guess it should not depend too much on the chip..
