Hi
Can I run more than one version of RIDE 8051 on the same PC (under the same User)?
I am using 6.1.6, and I want to try the latest version without disabling the present version.

Thanks
Damien

Unfortunately no.
Ride uses registry keys and the new installation will overwrite the old one values.

Hi

I have two supplementary questions.

I have just purchased and I am about to activate RIDE 8051.

1. If I activate 6.1.6 and later decide to upgrade to latest version, will my activation transfer automatically? (The reason I am being cautious about upgrading is that when I tried an experiment with evaluation versions a few weeks ago the latest version appeared to generate a larger code size for the same test program than 6.1.6: it loaded an extra library. I want to check this carefully before proceeding.)

2. I hope to be provided soon with a new PC. If I activate now on this PC, can I later transfer the activation to the new one when it arrives?

Thank you.

1. Yes

2. If you aren't able to register on your new PC, send your serial number to
explaining your trouble.
