When I configure Ride7 to use the SiLabs debug adapter, It will successfully connect to my target. However, when using the debugger, I get a connection error (adapter not found). There is also a disconnect between the latest SiLabs driver and the Ride7 driver (I have to re-program the adapter when switching between Ride7 and the SiLabs Flash Programming tool). The SiLabs programming tool works with no problems as I can compile my application in Ride7 and download it with the SiLabs Flash tool, but I can't use the debugger.

All programs and drivers are fresh loads from Raisonance and SiLabs Web sites as of 5/24/2013. All are first-time installs on a clean PC. This is my first exposure to Raisonance tools (I'm using the hobby license).

Where can I find a discussion about how to update the Raisonance driver? Does Raisonance have their own driver, or do they use the SiLabs DLLs?

Hello,

Can you tell us if you are using Silabs, Ride7 or both IDE, did you wanted to integrate Raisonance tools in the silabs IDE?
Which type of debugger are you using (Silabs serial debugger, USB debug adapter)?
Can you send us a screen shot of the error message?

Best regards,
