hi,
i have a st7 programmer reva starter kit. in the progress while programming the st72361 which is stated on the user paper i did all steps confirmed but on the window debug options i can not see the RLINK_ST7 on real machines but i can only see Rlink moreover on the window advenced options i cannot put a thick to debug, and then when i build the project gives an error like this cannot find the cosmic.exe however i installed the cosmic tools several times. but then i choose the metrowerks i can run the program by st7 simulator.

Hello,
1. It does not mind whether it is stated RLink or RLink_ST7. It depends on versions, but it's the same driver behind.
2. If you want to use Cosmic you must configure the path to Cosmic distribution. The default path may be wrong in your case. You can configure it by using the menu Options->Target->Properties. (By the way, why don't you use Raisonance compiler RCST7 ?)
3. If you want to debug this device which had no debug module, you must use the latest version of RIDE (BN747 is available for download on the website). Please read carefully the instructions given in the Help->PDF->ST7-Tools->"Getting Started ST7" document about limited ICC debugging on HDFLash devices without debug module.

can "not to register" cause a problem, ride gives error when i try to register by serial number on internet
