We'd like to use Rlink and RFlasher as simple production programming tools.
Our target processor is an STM8S207RB.
On an RFlasher7 installation we found only STM8A parts supported.
Are STM8S parts supported by the latest RFlasher version?
Can RFlasher be called from the command line too?

Hi,

Yes, most STM8S devices, including the STM8S207RB, are supported by the latest version of Ride/RFlasher.
You just need to download the software update from our website. (take both the Ride and the STM8 kits)

RFlasher7 cannot be called from the command-line, but for that you can use STM8_pgm.exe, which is installed along with Ride and supports the same target CPUs.
Call it without argument from a command prompt and it will display its help.

Best Regards,

Vincent

Hi,

thanks for your fast and clear answer.

I read about some common problems with USB drivers and Vista64.
Will your proposed configuration work with Vista32 and/or Vista64?

Best Regards,

Edoardo

Hi,

Yes, it works in Vista32 and Vista64.

(better than XP now, thanks to the Windows automatic online updates :( )

Best Regards,

Vincent
