I have a box for Rlink program and it works very well. But my worry is that I create a test bed for electronic tester and in this I do not have USB. I try to understand how but I do not have enough information in the datasheet.
I analyze the signal and tells me it does not.
Is it possible that someone will explain the operation of the SWIM.
Thank you in advance
I'm French so sorry for my English is not very correct.

Hi,

This is ST proprietary information and I don't think we would be allowed to tell you.

Maybe ST would tell you if you asked, (give it a try) but this protocol (and the layer above it) is quite complex and you would probably spend several weeks implementing it even if you had all the required information.

So I think you'd rather simply add an RLink in parallel to your tester, using the RLink for programming and the tester for testing, if that's possible. (depends on what your tests are...)
If your tests require some debugging, please note that it is possible to drive the Ride debugger (and therefore RLink) from outside.

Best Regards,

Vincent

Thank you for those explanations, I will see with ST if possible give me more explanation.
Because I have programmed more than 16 cards at the same time and only one box can.
thank you very much.
