Hello, I work with a STM8S105S6. For debugging I use Rlink standard with swim. The software is Ride7 IDE (Version 7.16.000) and RKit STM8 for Ride7 (Version 2.16.0903). When I start debugging a warning "RLINKSTM8DRV unable to load PDK system support" is shown. In the debug window only the peripherals EEPROM and SCI0 are shown. No Ports or other peripherals are visible. Can anybody help me? bog |
Hi,
This looks like an installation problem.
Yesterday we corrected a problem that looks like yours, and that happens when you install the kits Ride7, STM8 and ARM, and then uninstall the ARM kit. But the correction will only be available with the next releases of the Ride7, STM8 and ARM kits. Did you install and uninstall the ARM kit?
Please try to either install the kit ARM (even though you don't need it), or uninstall all the Ride kits and reinstall only the Ride7 and STM8 kits. That should solve the issue.
If it does not, please check that the following files are present on your hard drive:
\bin\Extperi.dll
\bin\Extperi6.dll
\bin\Extperi7.dll
\bin\PDKGen7.dll
I hope it helps.
Let me know how it goes.
Best Regards,
Vincent
Hello Vincent,
you were write with the missing files. I deinstalled all Rkits (STM8 and ARM) and Ride7. Then I installed Ride7 IDE (Version7.18.0903) and the STM8 kit. Now the warning is gon and I can see the peripherals.
Thank you
