Hi
I am using Rlink v2.01 to debug the code. I am using ST7LITE3 microcontroller. I should be able to connect Rlink to my board but I am not able to find the Schematic of Rlink v2.01. Is there a way so that I can get the schematic of Rlink v2.01.

I am using 20 pin connector in my board.

I was not able to attach the schematic of the board that I'm using. Is there any way to attach the schematic in this forum.

Thanks,
NTA

Hi,

For connecting to ST7 devices, RLink features the standard 10-pins ICC connector as defined by ST in the ST7 specification. For RLink v2.x, the ICC connector is directly on the RLink. For RLink 3.x, it is provided through an ADP.

Here is the schematic of the RLink ADPs, that include the description of the 10-pins ICC connector:

You will also find information on this topic, including the jumpers configuration that you MUST make for using ICC, in these documents:
\Doc\ST7\GettingStartedSTM8.pdf
\Doc\ST7\REva_User_Guide_MB.pdf

...and of course you should search in the ST docs, as the connector follows the ST standard.

If you want to send us your schematic, please email it at this address:

Best Regards,

Vincent

Thanks VincentC for the asnwer.

I do have one more question.I'm using Ride7 for the first time. I am following the "Getting started with Raisonance Tools for SMT8/ST7- Document version 2009-03-12".

According to section 3.3 RBuilder Startup,
RBuilder can be used to

1. Configure a project.
2. Generate a project skeleton containing all the necessary code.
3. Add your own code.
4 Execute the application

But I have my own code. Do I have to follow all the steps or just go to step 3 as I have all the codes.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks VincentC for the links to the RLink ADP schematics.

The RLink-ADP-ST7-STM8 V2.1 comes with an cable converting the 2mm SWIM connector to 1mm connector. Do you have manufacturer and part-number details so that I can design a pcb to mate with this cable?

Many thanks
