I have borrowed from a colleague an RLINK programmer which has a adaptor PCB (PCB ID = RLink-ADP-ST7-STM8-V1.2) which i used along with STM8_pgm.exe to program and verify my STM8S103F3 device. I now need to order a quantity of this kit, but I am not sure exactly what I need to order. The Standard RLink (99Euros) does not appear to support the STM8 on it's own (unless I am mistaken), but I'm not sure what I need to buy other then the RLink. |
Apologies, I have noticed a post not far below mine which pretty much asks the same question.
I would like confirmation however that if I order the "RLink-std" @ 99Euros, that it will contain the adaptor board that supports the STM8 chips.
Hi Rob,
Yes the STM8 SWIM adapter is included with RLink-STD. However check with your distributor that their RLink is a recent one, as some distributors have some old RLinkin stock with only the ST7 adapter.
