Hi,

I'm using Rlink device connected to ST DALI Slave card and I've compiled a project whit the last version of Ride 7 but when I try to connect with target ST7DALI microcontroller to start debugging, Ride 7 open a window with message OPI Driver Error (2) and close it self.
I've ensured that target microcontroller and selection inside Ride 7 and project libraries are correct.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Please tell us the versions of the Ride7 and RKit-STM8 kits that you are using. (click "help"/"About")

Please also give the complete error message. (PID read, PID expected, etc.)

Best Regards,

Vincent

Hi,

Thanks for the information.

Reading PID of FFF is usually the result of a hardware connection problem.

Are you using a commercial demo board? (which one?)
If not, please check that all ICC signals, including RST and VCC, are connected from RLink to the ST7, and that no "third component" can interfere in the ICC communication. (including RST) Can you send us your board's schematic?

Which version of the RLink ADP are you using and how did you set the jumpers on it? (if any)

Best Regards,

Vincent
