Hello everybody!

I bought an ST eval board ST-EVAL-MKI038V1 with a ST72F651AR6T1E.

I need to develop my own code for this µC and I'm getting from scratch with ST.

I read datasheet, some app notes and so more...
As datasheet says that STX-RLINK is compliant with ST72F651AR6T1E, I bought STX-RLINK so!!

I downloaded STVD 4.1.5 from ST website, Cosmic C from Cosmic website and Ride7, RKit-STM8 from Raisonnance website....

OK, that's good, I write some code lines in order to light on a LED... And I try to program µC...
And I get : "Connection error (usb://usb): mcuname: st72651 not supported by the current debug instrument"

I try to use RFlasher7 but I can't find µC in the list!!!

It's a shame... I think I miss something, but what???

Could you help me?

Thanks a lot!
Loïc

Raisonance Support Team

Hi,

This CPU is not supported by the Raisonance programming and debugging software. That is why you don't find it in RFlasher7. (or Ride7)

It should work with STVP though. (with either the Cosmic or Raisonance compile chain)
I think you just made a mistake in the configuration, but only the ST support can help you there.

Best Regards,

Vincent
