Never heard about this one. Do you have a datasheet?

Hi,
The core programming is supported by our RKit-STM8 toolchain. (RCSTM8 compiler, linker, etc.)
However, programming and debugging is supported only by ST tools, not by Ride7 and not by RLink.
You must ask ST for getting tools that can program these devices.
I hope this helps,
Bruno
EDIT 17/10/2012: RLink does NOT support ST72C devices. More information here:

Thanks! I will try.

Despite the fact that ST mention it as compatible on that page : http://www.st.com/internet/mcu/product/64396.jsp, tab
Hi,
Thanks for pointing the wrong information in the forum. I edited Bruno's post above.
Note that this information was already in this forum's FAQ:

Sorry your post was snipped. The link to the ST website will not work.
You can repost it, but the important information is this:
The ST website says that RLink supports ST72C devices, but in fact it does NOT.
We asked ST to correct it...
Best Regards,
Vincent
