Our company changes the pcs every three years.
Is it possible to get a free 16KB (or 32KB) STM8-Licence to activate
the current compiler version in three years at another pc
in the future manually?

Hi,

Quoting our licence :

Quote:
The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is in use on a computer when it is loaded into temporary memory (i.e., RAM) or installed into permanent memory (e.g., hard disk, CD-ROM, or other storage device) of that computer.

Clearly, it is NOT POSSIBLE to apply now for a licence that will evntually be applied to a machine 3 years ahead from now.

I cannot predict what the future will be in 3 years anyway, but I hope Raisonance will still be offering evaluation versions of the RKit-STM8 software.

BTW, The limitation is now 32KB of code, not just 16KB. Head to http://www.mcu-raisonance.com/mcu_downloads.html in order to update your software!

Best Regards,
