I think you should avoid showing the activation code directly online though screensnap.

Is that really a big deal? It's tied to my computer serial key so...

But I really wish I could get some support with this. All I've gotten via email is my reg code, again...

I suppose Ride7 isn't installed in \program files (x86)\Raisonance\Ride but in \Raisonance\Ride

Did you run the installation and Ride7 with administrator rights?

I did a fresh install this morning to C:\Raisonance

Yes, I have full administrator rights on my pc. But I just did some reading, I didn't right-click and "run as administrator" If you think that's it, I will uninstall and reinstall. Just never really understood the new Win7 administrator account.

Did a fresh install again this morning with right-clicking Run As Administrator. Still get the error.

Hi Kraig,

There may be some remains of the previous installation, that prevents clean reinstall.
Can you uninstall your Raisonance tools using the procedure at http://forum.raisonance.com/viewtopic.php?id=3643, then reinstall the tools with "Run as administrator"?

If the problem persists, we need to better understand the issue you are facing, and the following information about your configuration will be useful:
- Version of Windows: At a command prompt type the following command: "systeminfo.exe", which gives you a system report. We need the full "Operating System" and "Version" from the report.
- Version of Ride7 and RKit that you are using. You can get these from the Ride7 "Help | About" dialog box.

Please check from the Raisonance downloads page at http://www.mcu-raisonance.com/mcu_downloads.html that you are using the latest version of the tools.

Best Regards,

Ran the uninstall, re-installed with "as admin", still no go. The error I get is the second screenshot in first post.

MS Windows 7 Enterprise

Ride7 - v7.30.10.0159
Ride7 Patch - v7.30.10.0169
RKit - v2.3210.0307

Hi,

You may encounter a specific issue related to 64-bit Windows. If you have a 64-bit system, just read this http://forum.raisonance.com/viewtopic.php?id=3080 that describes the problem and its solution (I guess this is not the case as you already installed in C:\Raisonance previously)

Another known issue is about some Windows versions that do not have the script engine properly registered. You can check this from http://forum.raisonance.com/viewtopic.php?id=3296.

Please let us know when the problem has been solved satisfactorily.

Regards,

Registered the ocx, tried it, same error. Rebooted, same error.

Have you seen the source code for Ride? What throws that error?
