Hi,

I have installed Ride7 ver7.34 and RKit Stm8 ver2.36 in two different XP PCs but I am not able to make Ride7.exe file (so Ride7 program) work.
Then I tried Ride7 ver7.34 with RKit Stm8 ver2.34 but it also didn't work.
Then I realized that before I install RKit Stm8, I can open Ride7 (ver7.34) but of course without a kit. So installing Rkit Stm8 make Ride7 ver7.34 not to work.

I am looking forward to get new version of Ride7, because Ride7 ver7.32 has a bug on dongle activation. So I am currently using Ride7 ver7.30.

What should I do to get rid of this problem?

Thank you for the reporting.

It seems that this particular configuration (Ride7 ver7.34 and RKit Stm8 ver2.36) was not tested on XP. It works on Win7 and Vista but I just checked and indeed it does not work in XP.

There is a new version of the RKit-STM8 (v2.38) that will be released very soon (this week I expect), which does not show this problem. (I tested it on XP) I suggest you keep on using Ride7 ver 7.30 until then.
