According to the 'Raisonance Tools for ST7/STM8 Getting started' doc the program STM8_pgm.exe should be available in dir c:\program files\Raisonance\Ride\bin.

But I've installed the Ride7 IDE found on the cdrom (Part of my Rlink package) and the program is NOT there in the specified directory. Also the patch version on the web site (Ride7_7.30.10.0169.exe) does not contain the program.

Any idea where I can find it?

Hi Bert,

You probably forgot to install the RKit-STM8. Ride7 is just a project manager and editor, but does NOT contain any tools that produce code or handle any chips.

BTW, you should consider upgrading to a more recent version. You can install the Ride7 and RKit-STM8 from http://www.mcu-raisonance.com/mcu_downloads.html and register it from http://www.mcu-raisonance.com/stm8_registration.html on each of the machines that need to be controlled through STM8_pgm.exe.

Best Regards,
