I see, something is wrong with my post :-/... so let's do it again:

I try using the command line tool "STM8_pgm.exe" (and this forum :-) ) with LabView and it works fine so far. But there is one problem: If the board is not powered and I try to prgram the STM8 an error window appears which I have to close manually.
Is there a possibility to prevent the window from appearing?

Thanks for your answer

Matt

Hi,

This window is required for erasing applications that disable SWIM and RESET pins.

In a future version of RKit-STM8, we will add an option in STM8_pgm for disabling this feature.

In the meantime you'll have to make sure your board is powered before connecting to it. ;)

Hi VincentC

Thanks for your answer. In the meantime I found another workaround for this problem: I use Labview and the user32.dll for closing the window.

Best regards,

Matt
