Hi, I've upgraded the Ride7 from 7.40.12.0145 to 7.42.12.0305 to develop new supported chip.

Previous)
Ride7_7.40.12.0145.exe
Rkit-ARM_1.44.12.0214.exe
RKit-STM8_2.42.12.0083.exe

Now)
Ride7_7.42.12.0305.exe
RKit-ARM_1.46.12.0305.exe
RKit-STM8_2.46.12.0262.exe

In the previous environment, I can confirm some variables in watch view and memory view with high speed.
But in the latest environment, I can confirm them with very slow speed. (STM8 kit only, ARM kit is working well)

That function was very useful to develop such as PID control module board.
The Ride7 and RKit-STM8 toolchain spec is changed or not?

If changed, could anyone give me some suggestion?

Regards,

Hello,

Please give a try at these files:
ftp://www.raisonance.com/temp/STM8/patch_121213_RKitSTM8_refreshrate.zip

Just copy the two dll files in \bin\ in place of the previous versions. (which you might want to save before that )

Then the refresh rate should be better.

Please let us know if there are still problems for you with these files.

Best Regards,

Vincent

Hi

I also noticed that refresh speed might be a bit less than optimal. I use logging to CSV file and i could really use much faster logging through rlink (now it is ~1/sec on highest speed setting). Is it possible to speed up the logging somehow? Maybe it is possible to limit how much rlink reads just to few memory addresses/variables?
