Hello RAISONANCE

I am currently the owner of an old version of Ride7 including C-compiler for STM8 MCU's. It's from when Ride7 was free.

About Ride7 says:

Ride7 v. 7.40.12.0145 Standard version

Rkit-STM8 for Ride7 v. 2.44.12.0199 Lite Suite
STM8 Compiler v. 2.44.12.0199 Lite (32 Kb code limited)
STM8 Linker v. 2.44.12.0199 Lite (32 Kb code limited)
STM8 CodeCompression v. 2.44.12.0199 Demo period is over. Please register

Is it possible to upgrade to newest version of Ride7 and STM8 Compiler for free or do I need to buy a new version of Ride7 Lite?

Additionally, is it possible to buy a REva Starter Kit, v3 and use this with my old version of Ride7 or is this board not supported?

Best regards
Niels H. Andersen

I use free (and new) version of Ride7. As I know its limitations are
-less compiler optimization,
-limited debuggable codesize (program codesize can't exceed 50% of MCU's flashsize?)
