Hi All

The Raisonance REva module running the uTasker demo project is now available online at the following address: http://84.75.9.2/

Via Web Browser the project allows various tests including controlling LEDs on the board, configuring IP, UART and SMTP parameters, uploading and displaying a GIF image, testing email transmission of a test message to your own email address as well as complete secure software uploads (on the admin page).

The project is in last Beta testing phase and will be released very shorty with complete documentation and tutorial (using RIDE and CAPs for booting from Bank 0 or Bank 1). It includes an STR91XF version of the uTasker simulator which allows the complete project to be developed and tested in real-time on a PC .

The uTasker project (also available for SAM7X, M9S12NE64, Coldfire M5223X) is free for non-commercial use, including full email support.

For more details see the uTasker web site at www.uTasker.com

If any one would like to try the project (including complete source code) there is a simple application form on the web site or contact me directly (Also questions) at

Beta testers are also welcome!!

Best regards

Hi All

Note that the HEX file to be loaded to the board (eg. using CAPS - to bank 0) is available at http://www.utasker.com/software/software.html

This runs on the Raisonance REva board and can be loaded (for example) with the ST CAPs program (main FLASH). The web pages are not embedded in the code but can be loaded via FTP (the web pages are also on the web site). The default address of the board is 192.168.0.1 but this, as well as its MAC address, can be changed via web browser.

The following tutorial may help:

http://www.utasker.com/docs/M5223X/uTaskerV1.3-Tutorial-M5223X_003.PDF It is not for the STR91 (this is still being processed) but it is generally valid.

Good luck

Regards

Mark

P.S. It is necessary to press once on the reset button (power up alone doesn't seem to initialise the PHY correctly - I will be studying why not...)

Hi All

Just a quick note to inform that the uTasker project has just switched
its own forum live (9.7.2007). It contains a section especially for
the STR91XF. The project also includes a Raisonance RIDE project setup!!

You are all most welcome to check it out or become an active forum
member.
