Hello Vincent

1) See STR9x JTAG Boundary Scan Error using RlinkPro => Previous Post for symptoms
2) My application now requires a 4MHz Osc to run both the STR9X and an external A/D Converter (STR9X doesn't have enough bandwidth to close loops on when A/D is running with 8 MHz Osc.)
3) when I switched from an 8 MHz to a 4 MHz Osc the above RLink Pro problem returned!
4) I'm still using your patch that works at 8 MHz.
5) I'm running at the lowest Rlink Pro Clock rate of 400KHz.
6) I have tried to increase the Rlink Pro Clock rate, but of course the problem only gets worse.

Need help fast, I'm stuck!

Thanks,
mschott

Hi,

I just tried it and it worked fine. I soldered a 4MHz crystal on a REva board, copied the same files you are using, (referenced in the other thread) and it all went well.

It would give us very useful information if you could make the same test I just described. (I saw in the other thread that you have a REva board)
If it works, then we'll inquire towards your board and application.
If it doesn't work, then we'll check that you are using the correct files, and I could send another update with some modifications. (but I'm like blind, since I don't reproduce the problem...)

Best Regards,

Vincent
