Hi The "Erase full chip now" option in the STR9 specific options form in RIDE / RFLASHER BN747 fails if the security bit is set on the device. Since this is the only way to reset the security bit, it is impossible to program the device. I'm using STR912FW44. As a test I uninstalled BN747 and installed BN746 and it works correctly, so it seems to be a problem in BN747. I couldn't see anything in the forums relating to this - is it a known problem? Is there any solution / workaround? Or should I just use BN746 instead? Thanks, |
Hi,
This is a bug introduced in BN747. Thank you for reporting it.
Here is the the fix:
ftp://www.raisonance.com/pub/ST/BN747_fixes.zip
Download and unzip the file, and then read the 'readme.txt'.
Best Regards,
Vincent
Thanks Vincent.
That fixed it.
