Does anyone has tested the UART functionality on these boards ?

The demo "Hallo world" doesn't work. The \uart\example1\.... cannot work because there is no connection among REva DB9 socket and CTS, RTS signals (no hardware flow can be implemented).
But the \uart\example2\ ........ doesn't work too !

I am a newbie in this field. Can you help me ?

You may want to check that the oscillator frequency and GPIOs are correctly configured... Make sure that there is no flow control since the CTS and RTS signals are not connected on the REva.
