I am getting this error message when I click on the debug button. The emulator initializes OK but that error pops up when Programming starts.

I have tried on two PC and two different target board.

Ride7 was downloaded and installed from the internet a few days ago. The RLINK was purchased and connected yesterday.

Target board is an IAR Starter kit which works fine with the IAR JTAG adapter and their tool.

Thanks

I'm having the same problem.
Did you get an answer?
I am thinking that having the boot0/boot1 pins select rom boot might be the problem, but my jumpers are solder on surface mount pads, not easy to change.
I am using an olimex stm32-P103 board.

Hi Andy,

on this board, a jumper is present that connects RESET and TRST signals. This jumper must be removed if you want the RLink to work properly.
Can you make a try ?

regards,
Lionel

Two soldering irons, 2 cans of butane and a 27 year old solder sucker later I am in business.
Thanks.
FYI: jumper is labeled R-T and is about 1 cm inboard of the jtag connector.
