Just got new REva kit and daughter board with a sticker identifying the STM32F103RBT6 processor as STM32F103B. The jumpers were already placed as shown in the "Get Started" sheet. I made no changes.

Running Ride7, I loaded the project QuickStart_STM32 as instructed on the "Get Started" sheet.

I hit the "Start debug session" button, when the OPI Driver progress box gets about half way done, I got an OK box titled"OPI Driver Error (8)" with the message "Main not reached. Please check debug capability." The program does not run. It is frozen at address 20000004.

So I removed and re-installed Ride7, i.e., the bundled software and tried again. This time it worked. I could debug normally. I changed no code.

Later I started Ride7 again and started the debug section as before. Same failure as before. I restarted the computer and tried again. Same failure.

Do I have to remove and re-install Ride7 every time I use it?

Could be an issue with the connectors... try to remove the daughter board (and the jumper as well) and to connect it again.
