Hi Vincent,
I am using RIDE ver 6.10.22 BN746 & our own board
designed for data logging & OS is XP. I have installed new version in Win2000.

So far it was working fine & suddenly started giving message like

"Error During Connection to target", "Unable To Read ID code".

Connect to RLink is fine & showing "dngStd004000564".

I have 3 boards ready & all are giving same error.
I tried to Boot in RAM mode & check, no use.
I held reset button down & read : I am getting correct ID code. But I cant program the device holding Reset down!

Then I monitored all JTAG pins on RLink's 20 pin box header. All were absent.

When Reset button is held down , I could see pulses on all signals except JTag's Reset pin. I opened the Dongle & checked for pulses on this board. JRst is absent here!!

What to do now? Can I send it to your place for inspection? I bought it from DigiKey(with the help of my brother in USA).

Please HELP!!!
Thanks for your time
Pratibha

Hi

Vincent is out of the office until at least monday.

We usually do not inspect RLink standard when they are broken.
That would take us a lot of time to repair and test it.
If the RLink was bought less than a year ago you can send it to us and we will send another one to you to replace it.
If it is not the case it is better that you order a new one.

If you want to investigate a litle bit more you can have a look at the connections.
You can try to change the cable that going from the RLink to the cable and also check the adapter.
