Hi,

Can you please tell me what is connected on the BOOT pins?

I also need to know the version of your RKit-ARM.

And if you know the number of the old version that used to work, that will help too. (even just a date would help)

Best Regards,

Vincent

Hi,

For some reason, the software thinks that your STR7 is not in User1 mode. It is true that old versions did not check this, but they also happened to fail because of that.

Is there an application programmed in your Flash?
Does it remap the memories? (how?)
Can you send it to me? (the hex file or the source)

Please also give me the version of your RKit-ARM.

Best Regards,

Vincent

This MCU are clear (board is after repair)

ARM KT 1.16.0930

in fact i am a newbie in ARM (i am using in my work other family MCU)
i talk with the producer of the software that it was compiled used a RIDE6 so maybe it is a problem

unfortunetly i have only version7 (with my Rlink) so i cant test it with version 6 of Ride (is any possibilty to download and test version RIDE 6)

Hi,

Please try this patch:
ftp://raisonance.com/pub/STRx/test_090204_ARM79_NoErrorWhenWrongBootMode.zip

(copy the files in "\bin\...", but save the old ones before)

This will replace the error by a warning when Ride detects the wrong boot mode, which should allow you to program the Flash.

But if the boot mode is really wrong, then the program will probably not execute correctly, even if the flash is programmed.

You said that your board had been repaired... Did you check with a scope that the boot pins are really at the expected value, or did you just look at the schematic?

Best Regards,

Vincent
