I have seen press releases about a new verion - STM32F105/7, which includes new peripherals - USB host and Ethernet. These would seem to be ideal for an application I am working on. What are the plans to add support for these new devices to the Ride IDE and tools? |
Hi,
These devices are still in prototyping phase at ST, and we don't support them yet.
We will of course support them when or before they are officially released, or in the worst case very shortly after that... It all depends on when we get some chips here.
Do you already have some?
Best Regards,
Vincent
Yes, I thought it might be too early to see support for the new stuff!
I don't have one, but it looks ideal for what I'm considering and it would have been usefull to look at the software possibilities before committing.
Many thanks,
Mike.
Hi,
Our software will provide the same functionnalities for the STM32F105/107 that are currently provided for the STM32F103. Therefore, you can give a try at the 103 to get the general feeling. (buy a primer or a REva kit ;) )
By the way, I received a sample of STM32F107 this morning, so I should be able to make a patch in the few coming weeks. Just tell me when you get some devices.
Best Regards,
Vincent
Hi,
We are trying too to evaluate a STM32F107 as Beta testers, with a ST evaluation board provided by ST.
Trying to connecting a RLink Pro doesn't gives any result.
Is there any mean to adapt some configuration file to support the STM32F107 and STM32F105 ?
Could you help us, and can we provide any help for Raisonnance to support it quickly ?
Could I suggest to provide a mean into Ride7 to configure new MCU by customers. It could help your customers (me right now) and you to share this work with other customers.
Thank you
Best Regards.
