Hi,

I'm using Ride7 version 7.24.09.0251 en RKit-ARM fir Ride7 V1.22.09.0251 to build an application on a STM32C8T6. When I select this processor in RFlasher7 to be able to load the hex file to the target device, the ARM Hex loader reports following message:
"Loading data to non-physical address 0x4000 0000. This will not work on real device". When I look at the map file generated for my project, code and data are placed in the proper memory area. Where does this messag come from?

kind regards

Hi,

To help you we would need to have your project, or at least your hex file to begin with.

Can you please send the information to 'support@raisonance.com'?

Best Regards,

Vincent

Hi Vincent,

In the mean while the problem is fixed. First of all I installed the RKit-ARM V V1.22.09.0254. Next, our RLink interface board was slightly modified for use with an STR7 device (/RST pin was cut through). We changed it back to its original version coming with the Rlink device. And everything seems to work just fine

Thanks for your concern
Kris
