Hi alekseyb,

Ride7 is using msscript.ocx to set and initialize its environment.

One of the common problems is that msscript.ocx is unregsitered during an upgrade of Windows OS. Could you please check if this component is properly registered on your PC (regsvr32.exe msscript.ocx) ?

Then try to create a new project, add some files and try to build the project again.

Best regards,
Behnaz

DllRegisterServer in msscript.ocx completed successfully.

Then try to create a new project, add some files and try to build the project again.

the result is not changed.

Raisonance Support Team

Hi Alekseyb,

Just to add to Behnaz's reply: This problem has a generic answer at http://forum.raisonance.com/viewtopic.php?id=3296.

Please ensure that you look into previous posts before asking a question on the forum.

Anyway, the problem you are getting looks like a bad installation of Ride7.
Sorry for this annoying experience. There are some weird problems concerning administrator rights on Windows, which sometimes appear for unknown reasons.

Here is a procedure that will ensure that your installation is clean:

- Download the Raisonance tools uninstaller from ftp://www.raisonance.com/pub/Utils/uninstall_raisonance.zip and execute it. It will remove all Raisonance tools from your disk.
WARNING: Be sure that there is no valuable data in your Ride7 installation directory and subdirs (including examples and projects created in the default Ride7 folder), as everything will be erased.

- Download the latest Ride7 software and necessary RKit from http://www.mcu-raisonance.com/mcu_downloads.html and place them in a *local* directory on your machine (i.e., NOT on a network drive, CD-ROM or on a removable drive)

- Right-click on the downloaded Ride7 installation package and select "Run as administrator", then proceed through the installation steps.

- Right-click on the downloaded RKit(s) installation package(s) and select "Run as administrator", then proceed through the installation steps.

- (First launch only) Click on "Start | Programs | Raisonance | Ride", then right-click on the Ride7 icon and select "Run as administrator", then open the "Help | About" dialog box.

- Make a screenshot using the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard. Open the "Paint" tool from Windows and paste the screenshot into it. You can save the screen copy to an image file for later use.

Once the above steps have been followed, Ride7 should be properly installed.

Regards,

All performed on your recommendations, the result of the previous ... does not work.
I'm going to reinstall Windows.
