You can find the Rlink USB driver installer at C:\Raisonance\Ride\Driver\RLinkDrv\RLinkUSBInstall.exe.

The intermediately invoked Windows devide driver installation assistent reported also a failed installation.
RLinkDrv comes from latest Ride version. No RLinkDrv was installed before on the system.

You should remove the Rlink from the PC when you install the driver.
Can you confirm me that you are using the latest release of Ride7 and the Rkit-ARM?

There was and still is no RLinkDrv on the system installed, no files were copied so far (especially not RLink_WinUSB.inf)
The RLinkDrv files came with your latest installers (Ride 7.48.13.0324, RKit-ARM 1.52.13.0324).
During Ride7 installation the invoked driver installation failed all the same in the first place.
And of course no RLink was plugged in all the time.

Look in the delayed post #4 for the bold line and the return codes!
This has to be source of the problem.
What's wrong between your RLink_WinUSB.inf and your DPInst or my system?

Can you confirm us that the file "rlink_winusb.inf" is at c:\raisonance\ride\driver\rlinkdrv\ms_winusb_xp_vista directory?
If yes, you just need to right click on the file -> install
If not, we can send you the file.

I ran an update on my system with the Win7 install DVD at runtime.
Well, something has to be restored.
Now the driver installation went well without any errors.
I'm glad you could fix the issue with a Win7 update!
