Hi All,

I'm developing an app to program devices in the field using ST-Micro's Standalone JTAG Programmer and the RLink-ST Standard. I'd like to know:

1) Is there a preinstaller for PC-side USB drivers?
2) Is there an updater for RLink dongle firmware?

Thanks for the help,

Carl <|};-)>

Hi,

1)
yes, here:
ftp://www.raisonance.com/pub/RLink_USB_Driver_latest/RLink_WinDriverV7V.zip

2)
No, there is no firmware update and there is no need for any.

Best Regards,

Vincent

Hi Vincent,

Is there a tool for determining the firmware version in the dongle?

Thanks!

There is a tool to determine the serial number and the capabilities (limited by the serial number) of the RLink: see RLinkCapab.exe in your RIDE\BIN directory.

But nothing to determine the version of the firmware. The firmware never changed. The most important part of the firmware (management of the protocols) is dynamically downloaded from the PC.
