Is there an easy way to rename the object output file. Right now it is using the same name as the project file and I have not found any way to change the name of the output file or to change the name of the project. |

The output file name can not be changed from Ride7 options.
If you change it you can have problem with the actions that are done after the link (Debug ...).
May I ask you which kit you are using and for what reason do you need to change this name.

I am using custom hardware with Rlink.
I have now several project which I created by copying and modifying a first project. Since the projects are similar, it was the most convenient to just take a working one and modify it.
Each project is in its own directory so there is no problem recognizing them but the project file is called the same "filename.rprj" for each project. So now the output filename.hex is the same for all project.
It is not a very big problem, but it is a bit inconvenient.
