Hi,

I use Ride7 (7.24.09.0251) with STM32 Primer2 in Windows 7 Professional. Program crashes when I try to program the device.
When I start RFlasher7 (from Start Menu) it crashes immediately - it hangs up.
I have installed Ride7 on Windows XP SP3 and everything looks ok.
From the other hand, I can program Primer2 starting “Restore_Primer2_Circle_Factory.bat” without any troubles. So I think drivers are ok.
Can anybody help me?

Regards,

Hi,

Thanks for your care.
I tried this before I have written the post – no effect. I removed all drivers (files) and installed drivers for Windows7 but Ride7 still crashes.

Sorry Celetron

I had suggested this reading

Quote:

Whereas
Quote:

has nothing to do with the driver!

Can you let us now:
+ What is the specific RKit you have installed?
+ Are you able to use Ride7 (open, ....)
+ Are you able to program using one of our executable (depending on your target)

Hi,
I have purchased STM Primer2 and I have installed CrossWorks for ARM
As I wrote before I was unable to program Primer2 with Ride7 or run RFlasher
Everything else seemed to work correctly – I was able to open, edit and compile projects.

In the meantime I have done some research, so I can tell that:
Ride7 and RFlasher runs ok on Windows Xp SP3. I tried to run software on another computer with fresh Windows7 installed and were was no problems. Then I tried to run it on virtual machine with Windows7 – also without problems.

So I reinstalled Windows7 on my computer and program was working correctly for some period.
Then I made some changes to the system. I installed a few programs (Firefox, Thunderbird, Ms Office, CorelDraw) I have also moved my personal folder to the another drive and then some troubles appeared.
Ride7 works fine – I can compile, program and debug program loaded to Primer2. If I start RFlasher7 it works fine until I exit it (menu file --> exit). After finishing RFlasher7 windows shows the error message with notification that program stopped working and asks to stop the program or find the solution on Internet.

Concluding, I can live with this problem. If I have some time I will rollback the clean install of the Windows7 from the image backup to check installation of which program (Ms Office? CorelDraw?,…) causes troubles.

Regards,

PS. Or maybe you have another idea what is wrong?

Hi Celetron,

Could you send us the error report generated when Ride7 crashes?

Best regards,
Behnaz

Hi,

I don't know where to send the report.
On your web site you write: “If you require support for a Raisonance product that you have bought or downloaded, do not use the contact form on this page. Go to contact support.” The link „contact suport” is broken.
I have also some difficulties with generating bug report. RFlasher crashes now on exit so it doesn’t generate any report.

However I found in windows temporary folder some report in xml format which maybe will be useful but I don’t know where to send it.

Best regards,
