I have a small problem related to the editor.

I use the rectangle block selection (ALT key pressed + selection, both with the mouse or with SHIFT + arrow keys). It comes handy quite often. Sometimes, after I copy a rectangle and paste it anywhere on the same file, part of the file gets copied at the top of the file. Then, if you save the file it has grown with some repeated contents and you have to search where the repeated portion ends in order to remove it.

I am using RIDE 7.28.10.0075 + RKit-ARM for RIDE 7 1.24.10.0050 (I know it is not the last version, but this issue seems not to have been addressed in the last one).

I have experienced the same behaviour in previous versions. At first I thought it was me typing fast and carelessly or that I had the same file open with other editor, which is known to cause problems to RIDE.

After some tests, I *do* know it is not caused by sloppy typing and that it appears also if the modified file is only open in RIDE. It only happens when using the rectangle block selection and not in any other case. Unluckily, I am not able to reproduce this behaviour consistently; sometimes it appears, most of the times not.

Has anybody else noticed this? Can it be solved?

Thanks
