Hey.

I have seen some strange things during the last years.

The main problem now is that i can not program the microcontroller on our products.
Well, sometimes it works, and sometimes not.

I can read the programmers ID, I can read the processors serial number.
But i can not erase or program.
On current computer i get an error message.
On my private machine i get an bluescreen when i press erase or program.

I use RLink with the adapter V2. We har four of three of these programmers.
We do have one that never fails. And that programmer has the adapter V1.

The programmer have a 1 meter cable between the device and adapter. Could that be the issue?

Hi,

The protocols supported by the RLink are not supposed to work with 1 meter cables. They were designed for cables of about 20cm. In practice they work with longer than this but 1 meter is really too long.

For helping you more we'll need to know which target CPU you are connecting to, and which versions of Ride7 and RKit-xxx you are using.

Best Regards,

Vincent
