Q:  What is the serial key used for ?

A:  The serial key is your license to use the software and also allows you to access direct support and software updates issued during the first year after purchase. 

Use your serial key to activate the software license. Instructions for doing this are provided on the download pages of the Raisonance Support Extranet.

The serial key is provided to you (usually by email) when you purchase or receive a free promotional license for a software tool set. These licenses are not time limited.

You can use any of the software releases for the purchased toolset that are issued in the first year after your purchase.

Using versions released after the end of this one-year period requires purchase of a support and maintenance extension.

All software updates issued after June 2010 are available on the Raisonance Support Extranet download pages.
