Q: I upgraded my Windows7 to Windows10 and re-installed Ride7 with the appropriate RKit. When I launch Ride7, the following error message appears: "Ride 7 IDE must be installed before RKit-SMT8". What should I do?
A: This issue is probably due to the Windows registry, please follow the process:
- Uninstall Ride7 and the RKit
- Delete registry key
If you cannot delete the key even with administrative rights, run Regedit from the RunAsSystem tool.
